Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov phoned US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on May 25 with a blunt message: get your people out of Kyiv. The call came alongside a public warning from Russia’s Foreign Ministry about imminent systematic strikes on key military and decision-making locations in the Ukrainian capital.
