PolyCop AFK Mode: Automate Your Polymarket BTC 15-Min Trading Strategy with Zero Coding
PolyCop8 min read·Just now--
Most people assume quantitative trading is reserved for developers with Python scripts and private servers.
It is not. Not anymore in Polymarket now.
PolyCop’s AFK engine lets you set multi-dimensional trigger conditions in plain inputs. The bot monitors order books and price streams on the cloud in milliseconds, then executes precise entries on your behalf — while you do something else entirely. That is what we call AFK (Away From Keyboard) Automated Strategy.
Right now it supports BTC, ETH, SOL, and XRP across 5-minute and 15-minute markets.
Here is how it works.👇️
What AFK Mode Actually Does
Every short-duration market on Polymarket runs in fixed windows. A 5-minute or 15-minute BTC market opens, traders bet on whether BTC goes UP or DOWN by the close, and the round resets.
AFK mode watches each window for you. You define the conditions. When they are met, the bot places the trade. You do not need to be there.
The logic is simple. The execution is fast. And once it is set up, it runs across consecutive rounds without you touching anything.

The Three Entry Conditions (Using BTC 15-Min as the Example)
This is the core of the system. You combine three filters, and the bot only trades when all three are satisfied at the same time. All examples in this section use the BTC 15-minute market.
1. Trigger Time Range
This sets the window inside each round when the bot is actively checking conditions.
- Format:
MM:SS, MM:SS(See screenshot below — tap/click the button to enter your parameters.) - Example:
12:30, 14:40means the bot only evaluates conditions between the 12-minute-30-second mark and the 14-minute-40-second mark of each round. Outside that window, it does nothing.
This matters because prices behave differently at the start of a round versus the final minutes. You pick the slice that fits your strategy.
2. Trigger Up Price Range
This is the price range the UP share needs to be trading in before the bot will act.
- Format:
0.01, 0.99(prices are between 0 and 1, as all Polymarket UP/DOWN shares are priced on a 0–1 scale.) - Example:
0.50, 0.80means the bot only buys UP if the share price is somewhere between 50 cents and 80 cents.
To trade the downside, tap the Buy Up button to toggle it to Buy Down, then set your Min Down Price and Max Down Price. Same logic, opposite direction.
3. Trigger Price Change
This measures how much BTC’s actual spot price has moved since the current round opened.
- Format:
[minimum BTC price change], [maximum BTC price change]in USD - Example 1:
30, 9999— BTC has already moved up $30 or more since the round started. The 9999 ceiling is effectively unlimited, since BTC cannot realistically move $9,999 in 15 minutes. - Example 2:
-500, -50— BTC has dropped between $50 and $500 since the round opened. - Example 3:
40, 300— BTC has already moved up at least $40, but less than $300 since the round started.
What It Looks Like When All Three Fire Together
Take this setup as an example:
⏱ Trigger Time Range:
12:30 ~ 14:40📊 Trigger Up Price:
0.50 ~ 0.80📈 Trigger BTC Price Change:
$30 ~ $9999📈 Buy Up
In plain English: in every 15-minute BTC market, between the 12:30 and 14:40 mark, if the UP share is trading between 50 and 80 cents AND BTC has already risen more than $30 since the round opened — the bot immediately buys YES (UP).
All three conditions must be true at the same time. If any one of them is not met, the bot waits.
The Other Settings You Can Configure
Beyond the entry triggers, you have full control over how the trade is placed and managed (As shown in the screenshot below).
Order Type
Choose between a Market Order or a Limit Order (you set the exact price).
- For market orders, you can also set a Slippage tolerance — for example, 30% — to control how much price movement you are willing to accept on fill.
- Limit Price and Duration (Time To Live)
If you use a limit order, set the target price and how long the order stays open. If it does not fill before the duration expires, PolyCop cancels it automatically. You will not be left holding a stale order at the wrong price.
Single Trade Buy Amount
Minimum $5 USDC per AFK trade.
Number of Rounds
The number of trades this strategy will execute before stopping. Rounds where no order is triggered or filled are not counted.
Take Profit (TP) /Stop Loss (SL)
Enter either a percentage (0.1%–100%) or a fixed price (0.001–0.999).
- If you enter a percentage, the system calculates the target price based on your fill price and places the order accordingly. The maximum allowed price is capped at 0.999.
- If you enter a fixed price, a sell order is placed at that exact price every time. No copies will be executed above this price.
- Take profit and stop loss orders with a position size under 5 shares → automaticall yexecuted as market orders. Polymarket requires a minimum of 5 shares for limit orders, so PolyCop handles this conversion for you.
⚠️ Market orders are subject to slippage during periods of sharp price movement. Keep this in mind when sizing your positions.
Once you’ve configured all your settings, hit the Create button at the bottom of the menu to launch your strategy.
When the Round Ends
When a 15-minute market closes, your winnings are redeemed automatically. No manual claiming. No extra steps.
Go enjoy your profits.

Strategy Templates
These three templates each target a specific window within a 15-minute BTC round where the prediction market price diverges from the most probable outcome — a brief moment of mispricing that a well-timed entry can capture.
All three share the same underlying structure:
- Time is a filter. Each template only activates within a precise window of the round. Outside that window, the bot does nothing.
- Price confirms direction. The UP price range ensures you’re entering before the market has fully repriced the move — not chasing a position the crowd already sees.
- BTC spot movement is the trigger. Real price action on the underlying asset drives the entry, not intuition or manual timing.
Think of them as three different entry points in the same round — each one waiting for its specific condition to be met before pulling the trigger.👇🏻
A reminder: the specific parameters in these templates are for illustrative purposes only and do not represent investment advice from PolyCop. DYOR.
Template 1: Late-Round Lock-In
Enters in the final 2 minutes when BTC has already made a decisive move, buying a near-certain outcome at a discount.
- Time Range: 13:00 ~ 14:55
- UP Price: 0.5 ~ 0.9
- BTC Change: +$50 ~ $9,999
- Buy Params: 🟢 Buy UP | Limit $0.90 | Duration 90s
- TP/SL: None
Logic: With under 2 minutes left and BTC up $50+, a reversal is unlikely. A limit order at 90 cents means you’re buying a near-certain $1 payout at a 10-cent discount. Hold for automatic settlement.
Template 2: Opening Momentum Grab
Enters in the first 3 minutes when BTC makes a strong early move before the Polymarket has fully repriced.
- Time Range: 00:30 ~ 03:00
- UP Price: 0.01 ~ 0.5
- BTC Change: +$80 ~ $9,999
- Buy Params: 🟢 Buy UP | Market Order | Slippage 30%
- TP/SL: None
Logic: An $80+ move in the opening minutes is a strong directional signal. The UP price ceiling of 0.5 means the market hasn’t caught up yet — you’re entering before the crowd reprices the round. Wide slippage tolerance ensures the fill goes through without delay.
Template 3: Panic Reversal Lottery
A high-risk, high-reward contrarian entry when a sharp early drop pushes UP prices to extreme lows.
- Time Range: 01:00 ~ 05:00
- UP Price: 0.01 ~ 0.15
- BTC Change: -$200 ~ -$30
- Buy Params: 🟢 Buy UP | Market Order | Slippage 30%
- TP/SL: TP 0.45 / SL None
Logic: A sharp BTC drop in the opening minutes often triggers market overreaction, pricing UP shares at 1–15 cents. This is a low-probability, high-reward bet on mean reversion. The TP at 0.45 locks in profit on recovery — a potential 3x–45x return on entry. If it doesn’t recover, the $5 loss is the cost of the ticket. Position size is everything here.
Think of AFK mode like building with LEGO — the conditions are your blocks, and the strategy you assemble is entirely your own.
That said, before you run any live strategy, we strongly recommend testing your configuration with our AFK Backtest feature, currently in closed beta. If you’d like early access, join the bot and look for the testing site in the community group. Start PolyCop AFK Strategy on Telegram →
