I used to think the same thing.
I blamed my indicators, my timing, my execution, even market volatility. But after enough painful trades, I realized the truth was far more uncomfortable:
My late entries were psychological.
I was not chasing candles because I lacked technical knowledge. I was chasing them because of fear, greed, hesitation, and emotional pressure.
And once I understood that, my entire perspective on trading changed.
The Trade I Always Missed
I cannot count how many times I watched a perfect setup form in front of me and did absolutely nothing.
The market would approach my entry zone.
I would analyze the chart.
I would wait for “more confirmation.”
Then suddenly the price would explode exactly in the direction I originally predicted.
And that’s when the emotional chaos began.
My calm analysis instantly turned into panic.
I would feel pressure building inside me as I watched the candle run away without me…
