Each year millions of people come into trading hoping to use it as their exit strategy from their financial struggles and hardship.
They see it as their ticket to immediate riches — aka they see it as a get-rich quick scheme. But that’s far from the truth about trading.
Profitable trading is no different from building a house, you need to start from having proper foundation. Most folks have a foundation, but it’s not capable of holding up their trading in the long term.
Just like hoping a bungalow foundation would hold up against duplex structure, it might work for some time. But in a few years the building would crumble down and crash. Leading to a waste of your time, investment and resources.
The worst part of it all, is you’ll be so traumatized, and going forward you’ll take over-precautions due to how frightened you are from the experience and losses.
Yet you’ll have to pay for excavation, pay structural engineers to come re-access the property, reinforce it and ensure the next property you build the foundation can support the structure.
By the time you check the cost, it’s way more than it would have costed you, if you had built the appropriate foundation in the first place. This applies in your trading as well.
That’s the exact reason as to why some people are profitable for some weeks or months, afterwards it all comes crashing down and seems like their strategy no longer works in the market no more.
