The Toncoin and Token Bridge, one of the network’s earliest cross-chain infrastructure components, has been permanently shut down, according to the TON ecosystem. The bridge, accessible through bridge-v3.ton.org, will officially cease operations on September 1, 2026. Users will no longer be able to use the service to move assets between TON, Ethereum, and BNB Smart Chain after the service is shut down. During the remaining withdrawal period, all percentage-based transfer fees have been eliminated to ensure a smooth transition. This gives users ample time to reclaim their bridged assets prior to the deadline. Who is affected?

It is recommended that users check their wallets for any bridged assets, such as: — Wrapped Toncoin (TON) held on Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain, which should be bridged back to the TON network.

The j-tokens that are held on TON, such as jUSDT, jUSDC, jWBTC, and other bridged assets, should be returned to Ethereum prior to the shutdown date. The announcement also noted that bridge oracles will begin withdrawing their stakes from bridge contracts in June 2026. Transfer processing will continue despite this change until the final shutdown on September 1. The closure represents another step in TON’s evolving infrastructure as the ecosystem continues to develop more advanced and efficient interoperability solutions.

Check your wallets right away and move any bridged assets before September 1, 2026, if you’ve ever used the TON Bridge. If you miss the deadline, the bridge service may not be able to access your assets. While fee waivers are still in effect, complete your transfers by going to the official bridge portal.
