The End of Beta: What Comes Next
Stabilizer5 min read·Just now--
Epoch 6 is the final epoch of Stabilizer’s beta testnet.
After 6 epochs of testing, feedback, and improvements, we’re approaching a milestone. Beta testing has proven the protocol works. Zero slippage maintained across millions of swaps, thousands of users, and countless edge cases.
Now it’s time to prepare for what comes next.
This article explains exactly what happens when beta testing ends, what changes for users, and what to expect as we move toward Phase 1.
Beta Testing is Ending
Epoch 6 is the last epoch of beta testnet.
We’ve gathered the data we need. The protocol has been stress-tested. The community has helped us find bugs, improve UX, and refine the experience. Beta testing has served its purpose.
When Epoch 6 completes, beta testing ends.
What Happens to Your Beta Tester Role
If you participated in beta testing, you will receive your Beta Tester role badge.
This happens after beta testing ends and before Phase 1 launches.
The Beta Tester role is permanent recognition for everyone who helped test Stabilizer during beta. It doesn’t expire. It doesn’t reset. It’s yours.
Distribution timing: Between the end of beta and Phase 1 launch.
What you need to do: Nothing. If you participated in beta testing, you’ll receive it automatically.

Points Restart Explained
All points will restart fresh before Phase 1 launches.
This includes leaderboard positions, swap counts, volume tracking, everything tied to beta testing metrics.
Why the reset?
Beta testing was about gathering data and improving the protocol. Points during beta were a testing mechanism, not a permanent system.
Phase 1 is a fresh start. Everyone begins with a clean state when the official testnet protocol launches.
Your Beta Tester role is separate from points. The role stays. The points reset.

The Transition Period: Optional Testing
Between the end of beta testing and Phase 1 launch, there will be a transition period.
During this time:
The platform remains available. You can continue using Stabilizer if you want to keep testing or providing feedback.
Activity is not recorded. Swaps, volume, points, none of it counts toward anything official. This is purely optional testing.
Feedback is still valuable. If you notice issues or have suggestions, we still want to hear them. Your input helps shape Phase 1.
You can stop using the platform entirely. There’s no requirement to keep testing during the transition. Take a break. Wait for Phase 1. That’s completely fine.
Think of it as: An optional sandbox period for anyone who wants to keep exploring before the official launch.
What is Phase 1?
Phase 1 is the official launch of Stabilizer’s first testnet production phase.
This is when:
- Activity becomes official and recorded
- The protocol moves from beta testing to real testing
- Metrics, achievements, and participation start counting for real
- Everything you do matters beyond just testing
Phase 1 is not beta testing. It’s the beginning of the Stabilizer official testnet.
Timeline: What to Expect
Here’s how the transition unfolds:
1. Epoch 6 Completes (Current)
- This is the final beta testing epoch
- Keep testing, keep providing feedback
- This is your last chance to contribute to beta
2. Beta Testing Ends
- Epoch 6 completes
- Beta testing phase concludes
- Platform enters transition period
3. Beta Tester Role Distribution
- All beta participants receive their role badge
- Recognition is permanent
- You’ll be notified when distribution happens
4. Transition Period Begins
- Platform remains available for optional testing
- Activity is not recorded
- Feedback still welcomed
- Small break before Phase 1 to optimize final details
5. Phase 1 Launches
- You’ll be notified when Phase 1 goes live
- Official testnet protocol launch
- Activity becomes official
- Fresh start for everyone
What You Should Do Now

If you’re waiting for the official launch:
That’s Phase 1. We’ll announce the launch date as we get closer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will I lose my Beta Tester role when points reset?
No. The Beta Tester role is permanent. Points reset, the role doesn’t.
Q: Do I have to use the platform during the transition period?
No. It’s optional. Use it if you want to keep testing. Wait for Phase 1 if you prefer. Both are fine.
Q: Will anything I do during the transition period count toward Phase 1?
No. The transition period is not recorded. Phase 1 is a fresh start.
Q: When does Phase 1 launch?
We’ll announce the date as it approaches. You’ll be notified.
Q: What should I do with my current stats/leaderboard position?
Nothing. They’ll reset before Phase 1. Focus on testing, not optimizing temporary metrics.
Q: Can I still provide feedback during the transition period?
Yes. We welcome feedback anytime.
The Path Forward
Beta testing proved Stabilizer works. Thousands of users. Millions of swaps. Zero slippage maintained.
Now we prepare for Phase 1 — the official launch of the protocol as a live, testnet system.
The transition from beta to Phase 1 is deliberate. We’re taking the time to:
- Distribute Beta Tester roles properly
- Reset systems for a clean Phase 1 launch
- Make final optimizations based on beta feedback
- Ensure Phase 1 launches smoothly
Beta testing was the foundation. Phase 1 is the beginning.
