With only 14 days left in April, the odds for Bitcoin reaching $60,000 this month are effectively zero. Every active sub-market suggests Bitcoin will stay above that level. The introduction of spot trading at a major brokerage like Schwab typically supports bullish sentiment.
The likelihood of Bitcoin achieving a new all-time high by June 30 is at 3.4% YES, up from 3% a week ago. The September 30 sub-market has risen more noticeably to 9.5% YES, previously 6%. The December 31 market is at 16% YES, meaning traders expect the most movement later in the year.
The combined face value traded daily across these markets is $15,938. Actual USDC traded is $856, which means a few large trades could still shift odds. It takes only $1,794 to move the June market 5 points, so a single sizable order could push expectations higher.
Schwab’s entry suggests confidence in recent regulatory clarity from the SEC and CFTC. At a current price above $72,000, a bet on Bitcoin falling to $60,000 in April is hard to justify. A YES share priced at 0¢ would pay $1 if Bitcoin somehow fell that far, but no obvious catalyst exists for that kind of decline.
