Reserve Now is live on HoldToBuy

We just added a new feature to HoldToBuy: Reserve Now.

Buyers can now reserve eligible listings and pay through escrow directly from the listing page, instead of having to message first and wait for the payment step later.

Here’s what’s included in this update:

• buyers can reserve supported listings right away
• goods can use quantity
• services stay simple
• physical online goods collect shipping info
• digital goods skip shipping
• the reserve flow creates or reuses the conversation and keeps everything together
• listing cards now show when Reserve Now is available

We also added support for digital goods, so sellers can mark listings that don’t require shipping.

On the backend, we tightened things up too. Reserve Now now checks inventory properly and prevents multiple buyers from grabbing the same last unit at the same time.

This update is meant to make checkout faster without losing the safety and structure that HoldToBuy already has around escrow, conversations, and transactions.

Reserve Now is live now on HoldToBuy, so buyers can move faster and sellers can get secure commitments right from the listing page.
