Operation “One Big Win” Bursted

Jayjay had done this enough times to trust his luck.

So when the deal came in on February 17th, 2026, it didn’t feel special, just another easy win.

$1,000 USDC to swap and route for a clean 19% cut.

That one big win was here! He ran it through what he thought was one of the best aggregators.
Even toggled the “private” option , just to be safe.

Yet, by the time the transaction settled, the 19% was gone. And somehow, there was an extra $11+ hidden tax… from a “private” swap on Houdini.

That was when he realised that even unlucky guys get lucky with the right platform.

And for the first time, he started questioning what “best aggregator” actually meant. So when another deal came in the next week…

He didn’t leave it to luck as usual. He switched to RocketX. Let me show you why.

A little backstory before we go on…

There’s something ironic about how people, just like JayJay, choose where to swap.

Reports from CoinGecko (2024) and Messari’s State of DeFi show three things matter most: best rates, fast execution, and low fees.

Miss one, and the trade leaks value. Slow execution eats into it. Higher fees shave off profit. Bad rates mean you started at a loss.

The same swap across different aggregators like Houdini, Bungee Exchange e.t.c, can vary by 0.5% to over 3% just based on routing. That’s up to $300 gone on a $10K trade quietly.

Most users underestimate the real cost of swaps. Routing inefficiencies, bridge fees, and MEV all add up. Most platforms don’t fail loudly. They fail in one of the three places that matter.

Good rate but slow execution. Fast execution but worse pricing. Low fees but inefficient routing. Rarely all three work together.

If even one is off, it’s not premium. It’s just expensive… with better branding. What happened to Jayjay wasn’t unusual. He didn’t lose the trade but lost in the gaps between rate, speed, and execution quality, exactly where most top aggregators fall short.

What JayJay found while testing cross platforms

So, the very first question he asked himself was, “Why should I use RocketX instead of other aggregators like Houdini or Bungee?”

He tested it with $1,000 USDC using the private swap feature on both platforms.

On Houdini, he expected 987.04 USDC but actually received 982.55 USDC, a price impact of 1.745%.

On RocketX, he expected 994.42 USDC and received 994.44 USDC, a price impact of 0.556%.

With RocketX delivering more than was quoted and Houdini way less that is +1.2% more gain with RocketX

It was same trade yet completely different results. And that was enough reason to switch.
