MY EXPERIENCE IN THE ORBT INTENT-ERS PROGRAM
The ORBT Intent-ers program was a 6-week campaign hosted on the ORBT Discord server. During this period, community members participated in various activities such as Gartic, Rumble, quizzes, and content creation.
As the program progressed, some of us suggested adding a poker event. We believed it would give participants with different strengths a fair opportunity to earn more ORBs and climb the leaderboard. This was important because certain events felt difficult to compete in.
For example, Gartic was quite challenging. At times, it seemed like bots were participating, making it harder to win. Rumble, on the other hand, was purely luck-based, which made it unpredictable and difficult to consistently rank high. The quiz sessions were also tough for me personally due to network issues—by the time questions loaded on my device, others had already answered, which was frustrating.
The one activity that truly worked in my favor was content creation. It became my strongest area and helped me maintain a position in the top 10 on the leaderboard.
WHAT I LEARNED
Throughout the program, I picked up some valuable lessons:
Patience is key
Punctuality matters
Consistency pays off
I also realized that to succeed in events like quizzes and poker, you need to join early. Coming late often means missing out or earning fewer points.
WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT DeFi & ORBT
During the program, I also gained a better understanding of DeFi (Decentralized Finance).
In simple terms, DeFi is a way of using financial services without relying on banks or middlemen. Instead, transactions happen directly on the blockchain—making them faster, more transparent, and accessible to anyone.
I also learned about ORBT Protocol and its role in DeFi.
ORBT focuses on solving one major problem: fragmented liquidity.
In DeFi, liquidity (money used to complete transactions) is often scattered across different platforms and chains. This can lead to:
✅ failed transactions
✅ poor pricing
✅ slow execution
ORBT addresses this by acting as a unified liquidity layer. It gathers and organizes capital, then deploys it where it’s needed to ensure smoother and more reliable transaction execution.
In simple terms:
👉 ORBT helps make sure transactions don’t just start… they actually finish.
GROWTH & PERSONAL IMPROVEMENT
The experience also helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses.
I realized that Gartic was one of my weak points. However, by the final week, I made a conscious effort to improve and managed to answer about 7 questions correctly—something I was genuinely proud of, considering I struggled to get even one correct answer at the beginning.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Overall, the campaign was a great success. It was engaging, competitive, and brought a strong sense of unity within the community.
A big thank you to the ORBT team and all the community members who took time out of their schedules to participate. It was truly worth it.
Looking forward to more events like this in the future!
