If you’re a developer in India and suddenly your Supabase project stopped working, you’re not alone.

Yes — Supabase is currently effectively blocked in India for many users because major internet service providers (ISPs) like Reliance Jio, Airtel, and ACT Fibernet are not resolving Supabase domain traffic correctly, which makes the service unreachable without workarounds.

📌 What’s happening right now

ISP-level access issues: Developers and users in India are reporting that supabase.co and related project domains are inaccessible on several networks because of DNS problems or an order that appears to come via a government ministry.
Supabase response: The company confirms infrastructure is still operational globally, but users in India are facing reachability problems. They’ve reached out to the Indian Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) for clarification.
