How a Decade of Market Observation Built My Freedom System

From a 14-year-old Forex enthusiast to a “Risk-Free” trader with a $32k target.
I didn’t wait for permission to start.
I first discovered the Forex market when I was 14 years old. By 16, I had expanded into the Stock market and discovered the concept of Dividend Income. While others my age were focused on traditional paths, I was already navigating these environments using an account in my mother’s name.
When I reached the legal age, I liquidated that entire portfolio and immediately rebought the same assets under my own name. Ownership is the foundation. I wanted the process in my name so I could manage it entirely by my own rules.
The Cost of Realization
Investing for the long term was only one side of the coin. I wanted to master the active side — the skill of trading. My path wasn’t a straight line. I started by learning from YouTube and trading through personal broker accounts, but eventually, I stepped away. I even dropped out of university for a year, betting everything on the hope of immediate success.
It didn’t work. I had to face the reality that my process wasn’t ready.
I returned to university to finish my degree, but I didn’t return as the same person. Two years ago, I decided to stop “trying” and start professionalizing. I borrowed $1,588.94 USD from my mother to fund a specific trading course. I was building a proprietary skill because I knew the clock was ticking.
The Evolution to “Risk-Free”
Last year, I stepped into the world of prop firm challenges. By November 2025, I secured my first payout. By using those profits to fund new challenges, I’ve reached a “Risk-Free” state. I am no longer risking my personal survival capital to extract profit; I am using the market’s own leverage to scale. This detachment has made my execution cleaner. When you no longer “need” the win to survive, your perspective on the market changes.
The Two Pillars of the Process
I currently receive a monthly allowance of approximately $700 USD. It is a baseline that covers my current reality while I finish my final year of university. But graduation is a deadline, and I solve the math of my life through two pillars:
- The Active Skill (Extraction): My trading process used to extract capital with absolute detachment. My target is an income of $32,000 USD per year — the number that represents my independence.
2. The Passive Foundation (Retention): The destination for the capital I extract. My goal is a $100,000 USD portfolio where dividends cover my survival. I focus entirely on the yield; the daily price action is irrelevant noise.
I am not a trader who “hopes” for a win. I am a person who realized this path is where my logic belongs, and I have decided to master it until the system is complete.
