Gemini has rolled out a new agentic trading feature that allows artificial intelligence models to directly connect to user trading accounts and execute strategies on their behalf.

The product enables users to link AI systems such as ChatGPT and Claude through the Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets external tools interact with financial accounts.

Gemini described the launch as the first agentic trading system integrated directly into a regulated US based crypto exchange, marking a shift from AI assisted research toward full execution.

The system allows traders to automate market analysis, trade execution, and risk management using predefined strategies, effectively turning AI models into active trading agents rather than passive tools.
