Cross-border payments have been plagued with problems such as high wire transfer fees, regulations and compliance requirements from country to country, security risks, etc. Due to the inconvenience that centres around cross-border payments, tonnes of people have pivoted to cryptocurrency for payments due to the elimination of centralised control and the seamlessness it offers for transactions to go through.
Just as there’s no perfect solution to a problem, cryptocurrency also has its own shortcomings. In the crypto world, there are a lot of technical terminologies that one needs to have at their fingertips to navigate through the ecosystem. For instance, you want to send Solana to a friend, but all you have is Ethereum. You can choose to swap from Ethereum to Solana and pay swap fees. You ask for your friend’s wallet address for the token to be sent, which contains characters that can’t be copied to the brain. You copy it to your clipboard and double-check to be sure, because any change to the characters will result in the loss of the money. There is no name, no address, just a bunch of characters used for receiving money. Therefore, wallet addresses are long and unreadable, with no username system in them. To worsen it, some blockchains in the space do not communicate with each other. I.e., moving an asset from one blockchain to another requires tools, steps, and even high fees.
In order to tackle these setbacks in this space, Moove built a solution.

MOOVE IDENTITY AND THINGS TO NOTE
Creating your Moove identity, which is sometimes called your Moove handle, is the first step to getting started. Your Moove handle is like your unique username on any social media platform, which people search for and can use to connect with you. But in the case of Moove, instead of just mere connections, it’s your wallet address where money is sent.
Then there’s your Moove profile, which people can visit to pay you directly. There in your Moove profile, you can set your bio, your social links, your photo, and even your preferred cryptocurrency to be used for payments.
Note: Don’t confuse Moove Receive and your Moove Profile for payment settlement. In the Profile Section, the sender determines the amount to send, while on Moove Receive, you set the amount to be received before sharing the links.

Moove contact acts like a contact book where every contact is a Moover. You can search for their handle and add them up. This feature is coming in 2026.

MOOVE PRICING
This is one of the best things about Moove. If your transaction includes a swap or bridge, a flat rate of 0.02% is applied to the transaction. For example, if you want to swap $100 of Solana for $USDC tokens, a fee of 0.02% of $100 is charged, which is $0.02, making it almost negligible.
In fact, same-chain, same-token transactions are completely free with zero hidden charges at all.
