CoinDesk 20 performance update: Bitcoin (BTC) trades flat while altcoins rise

NEAR Protocol (NEAR) gained 5.8% and Avalanche (AVAX) climbed 3.6%.

CoinDesk Indices presents its daily market update, highlighting the performance of leaders and laggards in the CoinDesk 20 Index.

The CoinDesk 20 is currently trading at 1909.43, up 0.7% (+12.64) since 4 p.m. ET on Thursday.

Nineteen of 20 assets are trading higher.

Leaders: NEAR (+5.8%) and AVAX (+3.6%).

Laggards: BTC (+0.0%) and XLM (+0.0%).

The CoinDesk 20 is a broad-based index traded on multiple platforms in several regions globally.
